I dress up in my tie and pants
and take my lady out
they look at me with such disgust
but I just block them out

They show up at our celebrations with anti-peaceflags and bull horns
to shout the gospel and and preach the word
the only way they know

They close their hearts, their minds, their souls to love of any form
to only allow what the Bible says, the one that they've reformed

They look for a meaningful connection with another human being
someone to share their life with and create a family
they go to work to make a living to take care of all needs
but when I'm say I'm just the same they pretend that they can't see

My heart is open and not to judge just as my God would hope
but for some reason they're full of hate and I must learn to cope
I want no different of a life than what they see on their TV's

I want the same rights, same love, same chance to be allowed to be me.
